Whats the point of even getting a card

just an FYI all, I got my recommendation from medicann a few months ago and as far as I know, the 24hr verification is online only and so far, ALL the clubs I've gone to and delivery places I've tried required phone verification. Yup, I got my recommendation during my lunch break and was told that I was added to the online system for verification, went to a club that night and was sent home empty handed.

I dunno, Ive been to a few places that use the online verification.. They do have 24-hour phone verification though, its an automated system. I got my rec and went down the street and it already showed up online, less than 15 mins late.

If you take the effort to look online you will find many co-ops that cap at 45$ 1/8 with really good quality. Along with them having concentrates and clones. Having a recc also adds some legal security and is in general a wise thing to have. And there is no "card" really, just your doctors recc. Although I think they have started to issue LA county (and I'm sure other counties up north) ID cards.

Ok so im starting to think that theres really no reason for me to get a card. for one ill be spending 150 for the recommendation and then if i understand correctly ill spend more to get a card through the dispensary to be in their system. Then once i go to the dispensary the prices are much higher anyways then street prices.

Now if i get caught in california with less than 28.5 grams of marijuana all i get is a ticket that is a 100 dollar fine. seems worth it to just not get busted. but i do have a few questions such as what if i get caught with a pipe on me is there any different charge and say i get busted once what happens if i get busted a second time. and also if i get caught will my car insurance company find out about it and raise my insurance?

hey pecclee man messed up the nam, but the idiotic reason for getting that license is just the way stuff is these days. I am not one to really preach for mines due in 3 days,again I am in wa,state,native cal boat and sail guy.Hey it just might mean the difference someday in your freedom or alot of months in the county, and If your doin big, man, theyd hand your ass, just play by the retarded rules and get doctors to advocate where they should. How would you like to go to college even for an m/d license. Docs are upset cause our government tells them what we get some drunk idiot? Get a card if you can. Don't trust cops they will always find ways to put more charges on you. And if you get caught twice, the second time they might put a intention to distribute charge on you.

and 150$ for a card? You sure your in southern cali? Around here can get em for 60$- 80$ AND the clinic prices for bud is cheaper than street dealers.

Would you mind sharing where you got your card and where you buy your medicine? I have seen it elsewhere, so assume it is o.k.! If not, I guess you'd better send the ban to me, cause I am :wtf: I am going to the wrong places!

The best prices I found were $125. for rec. my county no state lic. issued, but Riverside, as prev. quoted half price for some and $150.00 for everyone else. But, medicine, Is there a discount shop I haven't found! Oh no! I don't think it was the one that was shut down last month, too pricey! pr:jointsmile:

I'd get the recommendation and the card if it comes with the recommendation for free but I'd avoid the county issued card. It is unnecessary and opens you up to a whole bunch of potential problems.

The County Health Dept (in Riv Cty) sells the State Card> makes sense? Like me selling prescription pads for my Dr.!

I think we all feel about the same way about the Gov't. I best let it go at that.

If you are growing, I would suggest you have a State card. At least, once they work out all the new regulations from county to county,:wtf: as mmj will be a source of taxes one day and probably sooner than you think! PR :rastasmoke:

if u have the county card u walk it says you shall not confiscate nor arrestand in riverside it works oh and if im at spot when it gets poped i have a legal reason to be there although my dealer will get arrested u might not look so good after though

the best med prices are in sfv grams of kush fer like 15$ and thats with tax and like45 fer an 1/8 but theres alot of dispensaries out there ther like liqour stores open till 2am

I guess we'll have to agree to disagree on the county issued cards as it relates to growing (in Kalifornia, anyway). The only cause it supports is big brother and the ability for local LEO to label us because otherwise it is unnecessary even from a legal point of view.

You must be going to a shitty dispensary is all I can say. Check out for a list of some good ones, or you can PM me with your area if you want.

I pay a little less than I used to, but the quality is off the charts. Plus you can get ANYTHING you want at the clubs. Any type of hash, oil, kif, shake, edibles, ice cream, soda, candy, suckers, tinctures, moon rocks, butter, cooking oil, ANYTHING really.
