I have assaulted the buds with a fan over the past 18 hours and it appears as though the infestation is slowing down. I caught the mold early enough that it is a very light, fuzz only on clusters of maybe 3-4 calyxes at most. Would you think that buying an anti - fungal and cleaning the mason jars with them would be the best idea? I have tried to remove infected buds, even though I am aware that spores will disperse when disturbed.

I know that molds are rather hardy, but won't the low temperatures at least retard growth? I know that it works on perishable goods, and since the fridge works partially as a vacuum, shouldn't that assist with dry conditions?
Hazeus Reviewed by Hazeus on . MOLD SPOTTED! I've taken the following steps after spotting a minute amount of mold. 1) Sanitized hands between each mason jar of inspection and carefully discarded molded parts. 2) Sanitized mason jars with antiseptic (Isopropyl Alcohol) 3) buds are in close proximity to a fan receiving ventilation. Tell me if you think freezing now in hopes of killing any forming mold would be a good idea. I'm pretty lost and scared of losing a good 1/2 oz. of quality product of my very first harvest.
