21 gallon should be plenty if you're only vegging for 4 -7 weeks

People veg for 6 months and don't need that much space...

Damn 6 months of veg??????!!!!!!!! that's the longest I have ever heard!! they must get like 3lb yields easy maybe more.I don't have that much patience lol!! thanks for the advice.

I just wanted to make sure I didn't stunt the other plants growth!

I don't think I've ever seen a 21 gallon bucket...unless those are those rubbermaid containers...

Just remember that the root growth to actual plant growth during veg is approx. 3:1

Which means your roots grow 3 times faster during veg than the visible plant does

Yeah it's rubbermaid 21 gallon 79.5 liters. So just keep the veg time down pretty much? I just figured that people grow a single plant in the 5 gallon bucket. So I'm thinking two plants could fit in a 21 gallon tub? I just hope they don't go rootbound

I just hope the yield will be more than just a single plant in the tub alone. If two will cause yield to go down,I will stick with a single plant system.I have decided to run both and see the results.......

Are you using fem seeds. If not I'd suggest using one plant per tub because if you have to chop down a male thats in a tub with a female the roots will be tangled and trying to remove the males root ball could cause damage to the females root system, while leaving the root ball of the male after chopping it seems the logical solution it will only cause the males roots to rot out the females.. so if there feminized beans then I'd say 2 per tub should be good but 21 gallons might be overkill for one plant unless you vegged it aloooooooooong time... just my 2 honest abe's
