    Cold Room/First Room

So my room is quite cold. Without anything in it the average temp is around 65-70 in the summer, best guess would be 40-50 or lower in winter which is coming soon. It's about 11.5ft long x 3.5ft wide and 8ft high.

    Veg room: 4ftx4ftx8
I have one oscillating fan blowing directly towards the circular vent of the 400w MH hood and it doesn't seem to get very hot. Average temps seems to stay around 74-77F. One oscillating fan is blowing on the plants and the hood hangs about 2.5ft from the seedlings. Mylar lines the walls in this room. It was closer but the tips seemed to be yellowing so i raised it higher and they started to grow nicely. They're in coco coir and some warm castings in plastic solo cups.

    Flower room:
I'll have a 1k watt hps hood system and another 2 oscillating fans as in the veg but i feel the space is quite small for a 1000watt bulb. For about 5-10 plants depending on germ and sprouting ratios, they'll be in 5gal buckets in a 3.5ft by 5ft wide area. Will the heat from the 1k hps and the small space be suitable for that many plants? And should I plan to have an air intake setup even if the temps are averaging 75-80F? Mylar also lines the walls of this space.

thanks for any help, i'll try to get some pics to make it easier for your opinions

    gmorning

yep, I think indoor! And lots of info, I stumble on in there earlier! Good luck, I will follow this. As my trouble is the opposite of yours--heat! :rastasmoke:

In fact, I was reading, Stinky's; Simple noob instructions (something like that) and she was answering questions similar to this! Good luck!

you should do fine in the summer, maybe a bit cold though, and to help in the winter, check the insulation in the walls and ceiling of the room(s?). that would help to keep in the heat and youll have more control.

insulation is in place throughout the walls and ceiling, without it the temp may drop even lower than it already is lol. Thanks though guys, i don't think i have the power to move threads but if i do i dunno how.

i'll keep up on my research, I want this room to be kept spotless and well organized.

    gmorning

it's not too important, don't want to be a bother and i can just start a new one with basically the same details as in this one.
i'll probably go into more detail when me and my partner discuss all the factors. and maybe within the next few weeks have some pics or i'll try my hand at drawing in Paint lol.
