FLower Day 5 Green Leaves Falling

FLower Day 5: green leaves are falling off almost all lower parts of the plant.

Not that all of them are, but that is the area which most have fallen, they fall off with the brief touch. or none at all just disconnects from the stem of the plant and is'nt yellowing before they fall (well some smaller ones) but i have some 5 point and one or two 7 points that fell.

nothing looks wrong with the plants themselves. Just losing some rather useless leaves. Is this normal ? I've never made it to flower before.

    E - indoor
    E - soil
E Medium - Miracle Gro Organic with some perlite.
    E Water - Tap
    E - 6.5-6.8 avg PH
    E-Age of plant - 2 to 2 1/2 months at least
E- None/weak solution of Miracle grow plant feed
E-Lighting source and distance from plant - 3 Inches give or take on some - 6 26 watt CFL's
    E-Air temperature - Day 75-80 night 70-78
    E-Lighting schedule - 12/12
E-Type of ventilation your room has - Pc Fans/passive intake

Upgrading today with scrubber ( was waiting for paycheck so I'm adding an inline fan and duct also) Doing a rubbermaid grow.

Have been using Miracle grow plant food but i hate it so I use it once maybe twice a weak in small quantities. ( getting some tiger bloom today too)

I switched from some premium plant soil, with perlite mix to the MG:Organic mix. Figure it'd be better for flower since it lacks a little bit in the Nitrogen.

I've searched and seen it's quite normal for lower leaves to fall. But not all of mine make it to yellow before they do? I tap them very gently with my finger to see which would fall ( some would most wouldn't) maybe i just caught it before they yellow.

Adding air flow will help you no matter what, so it's good you are on top of that.
Also, do you check to see if the pots feel light before watering? Overwatering can lead to sudden odd leaf droop/loss. IS there a foul smell at the drain holes?

I use a combination of weight, and soil dryness to decide on watering, temp changes outdoors has changed my indoor conditions. It's fluxing between near 90 deg down to about 67 today.

Which forces me to change watering habits yesterday i watered and it was 90 outside which means it was near 80 inside. Today its about 67, which means its closer to low 70's inside.

So the water that would of been gone in ....... a few hours is still in the pots. I believe that might be a concern ( has many air holes 4 in each side 6 on the underside ).

Soil is half way dry so it isn't as wet as i was thinking it was. Just drying slower.

from floor to top about 18 inches avg. Lights are directly above (rubbermaid grow) about 2-3 inches. (move them up as i go).

    No pics :\

the light penetration could be better.just replaced 2 14 watters i had with 26's yesterday so now all 6 are 26 watters.

    better light coverage.

I believe this to be your problem, try adding some more lights lower down on the plant see if that fixes it.
