    purple maxx

On the bottle it says to use a 2ml. per a Gallon of water. So this is .5ml per a quart? It just seems like so little. In fact i had a hard time measuring out a half ml. May have been more like 1ml. I hope it doesnt fry them.

Anyone have experience with this. It seemed to be a drop in a bucket.

my experience with purp max is, more is better and be sure to drop your nute level a 3rd, i do half on my plants now but others i have done a 4th of the nutes and still see a little burn, so go easy and test test test to see what works with ur strains.

I've been applying it lightly as a foliar feed to avoid having to flush in case of problems. That low level is correct; follow the instructions carefully- you really don't need much. Remember it's a hormone product, not an actual fertilizer, and is active at low levels.

    Thanks folks.

I first used it and followed the directions precisely. This time instead of lowering my nutrient i waited until a week after i have fed, and then used it. When i feed this week i will then reduce the amount of nutes. I hope that is going to be ok. My reasoning was that the plants have used a lot of the nutes in the last feed so they will be OK. IS this nonsense? I do know that the plants use different amounts at different times so...?

I will update as to how this works out. Thanks again

    My follow up as promised.
I applied the Purple Maxx after not feeding for a week. I assumed the levels would be Ok since i had not fed for a week, and so did not think the enhanced nute uptake would be a problem. For some it was and for some it wasnt. I am typically a light feeder, so i think that is what has prevented burn on the entire garden. My biggest plant seemed to get burned the worst and needs some flushing.
I do not understand why I could feed the plants Nutes of approx. 800 ppms on a monday and then purple maxx them on tuesday, and have no burn. Wheni will then give regular nutes of 1000 ppms on a monday and then purple maxx them the following sunday, and they will burn. Clearly i am misunderstanding my ladies, and how they function. Everything is gonna be alright, just wanted to update.
How many times does anyone apply P.Maxx?

    2nd follow up.

I am outdoor and just finished approx 4 weeks of Flower, tuff to tell as i don't know when the exact flower time began. I do know the flowers started appearing about 3 weeks ago.

The purple maxx has performed already. I was not expecting to see crystallization so soon. About four weeks in and the bud-leaf clusters(which are still only the size of marbles), are COATED in white. Some of the leaves have crystals half way across them. Really cool. I have only noticed a real difference so far on 1/3 strains. The GDP is the one. I am hoping the others will frost up extra later on.
I have grown the GDP before and i can tell the difference. Of course this stuff is dangerous though, so be careful.

I've been adding Purple Maxx twice a week with molassess. You do have to carefull if you use Gravity with the Purple Maxx. I turned one whole crop yellow because I didn't have room to raise the lights.
