    LEEBUDS FIRST CROP

    HI all just thought id post pics off the first cropped plant really pleased cut it down on thursday is it right it takes about 7-10 days to dry

    Dude...you harvested too early....it wont be a potent as it could have been...
    But anyway, nice work and congrats on your first harvest....enjoy...:jointsmile:

    i agree they look like they needed at least another month maybe a month and a half either way enjoy... theres always next year

    leebud, I tend to agree with zeb and redroses, as I don't see any dried pistils. It looks like they are all still alive and probably continuing to grow. I've never harvested a plant early to really know firsthand how it will affect your smoke. My guess is you'll still get a good buzz off it, but it will not contain as much of a kick as it would have if you had allowed it to continue producing resinous trichomes. It's dang hard to wait for harvest though - I know that feeling well!

    There are some really good threads on this board about drying and curing, so just give the "Search" button a go; I know you will find a better thread than what I could repeat here.

    Don't get down about harvesting too early, as you still have another plant, right? Really just look for drying of the pistils and turning of the trichomes - you will really be able to notice the white appearance to fade to an orangey appearance, which will signify the plant is in decline and has essentially finished growing and is ready for harvest.

    thanks very much you all for your kind words and allways good advice i have learned my lesson now so her sister will continue for another month at least and ill post pics of her crop thanks again guys really appreciate it

    rofl dude. what were you thinkin? you could've just asked people before deciding to harvest that plant.

    you didnt think it was unusual that the hairs were all white?

    skitzo if you read what i had wrote you would of known i posted thread on harvest and all the hairs was not all white over 50% had started to turn brown mate thats what i was thinkin
