How can you tell if bud is properly dried/cured?

By feel/smell/sight/etc (anything but smoking it), how can you tell if a bud is properly dried and/or cured?

Well... the surest way to know it is: put some of it (without grinding) in the microwave and microwave it for some time (anything between 30secs-2minutes).
Then, smoke it and see if there is any difference. If there were, then your bud wasnt properly cured. :thumbsup:

EDIT: OOPS! Only now i did read the part "anything but smoking"... so i think what ive said is useless... anyway, it still works... but you will have to smoke it... what isnt SO bad, is it? :jointsmile::stoned::rastasmoke:

The bud i picked up last night is a bit wet, i'm drying it out now, it does get me high though. I need to move to the dam asap. I'm sick of english bud. stupid bendy stem.

Man I feel like moving to the dam asap.. The quality of bud in britain is just getting worse and worse, unless you grow it your self or know some one who is growing it..
