I once forgot to return a book for like 2 years....eventually I had to the balls to try and return it back and the fine ended up being like 5$ hahaha....all that anxiety over nothing. I think what happened is kind of funny, but i have no idea what small towns are really like so I don't know much about the cop situation. She broke the law, excepted the consequences.
