    Wake and Bake

O.K. I been stoned for the last 15 years or more with out skipping more than 6 months total in that time. Twice for hospitalization and the rest were the days that I could not find my medicine. I have always wake and baked. Two big bong rips every morning rain or shine. Out of curiosity however I have not been medicating in the morning for about two weeks. I find I get way more baked then I have in a long long time if I wait until after 12:00 Noon to brake out the herbal kindness.

Any other Chronics out there feeling burnout etc? Give it a try it seems to help!

Anyone else out there notice this?

    :rasta:

Note: I have not had any negative effects with my epilepsy since beginning this experiment. I continue to be seizure free which is something I am not able to do when I am with out cannabis for more than a week or so.

I definatley know what you're saying. I don't have a reason why, but I can relate.

    I kind of have a little weed smoking schedule setup (mainly for weekdays) , 7:30 am, 4:00 p.m. , 10:00 p.m.

but i like to switch it up about once a week b.c it "keeps my body guessing" i guess you could say. It just effects me different, and most of the time it's a good thing.

    Wake and Bake

When i wake and bake i don't usually get that high, maybe just a bowl or two to get my head in the right place to take on the day  . I try to stay buzzed during the day, and save my heavy smoke sessions for the night time when other people are around to throw down and roll a fat blunt

Me too. I find that no matter what time of the day you take your first hit, that's going to be the best one. The longer you go without weed, (ie. sleeping for a few hours) the better your next high will be. When I am stoned all day every day, after a few days I feel like I can hardly get stoned anymore. One thing that really helps though is to change it up a bit. Grow several different varieties, or harvest at different ripenesses. Have some clear and some amber around if possible, and consider smoking just the clear or partially cloudy for breakfast.

I used to have a problem where every morning I would wake up and have Nausea, thats when I started waking and baking. It made the nausea go away immediately. For the last few weeks I have woken up without nausea so I stopped my usual wake and bake routine. No matter what the first high of the day is the best and is going to give you the best stone IMO. All those hours while your sleeping then if you wait till later in the day thats even longer of a time. And to answer your question, yes i notice that, keep smokin

I like the idea of multiple strain variety and abstaining for brief time periods ( morning hours ).

I took a 2 day break while I did a body cleansing and wilderness trek (9 miles by canoe and 22 on foot one way). I decided to leave all my medicine at home. I talked to my Doctors about this first as I gave up all of my medications including a couple post Heart Attack medications and I followed the cleanse instructions from this herbalist I know.

Well I got home late last night took a nice hot shower, ate a fine meal and crashed.
Took my first hit around 3pm and I am in really good shape! I have one heck of a buzz!

I hope it's not the case, but you may want to consider that this is one of the signs of an ulcer. I don't want to alarm you (well maybe just a little) but that happened to me as well, and eventually it went from nausea to pain, and various combinations of both. If you don't want to talk to your doctor about it, maybe consider cutting out caffeine and/or alcohol, or at least significantly reducing it, and taking a couple rolaids or tums before bed time. If you do talk to your doctor about it you might ask about Protonix or Nexium. Both work nicely for me, but my insurance stopped covering Nexium. Now I don't have too much of a problem, and if I feel a little something coming on in the stomach department I'll pop a Protonix and all's good for a day. Weed does help with the symptoms of an ulcer, but those other two meds will help cure it. Sorry for the rambling, and again I hope you don't have an ulcer.

    Wake and Bake

My little schedule used to be wake up and eat, smoke a cigarette and then get high. But I have noticed that some mornings I'll wake up and feel sick and won't want to eat. After I medicate myself with a 20 minute smoke session or so, I feel fine. I think that the cigarettes have a little more to do with me feeling like crap though, but I'm glad there's a plant out there to cure such bad feelings:rasta:

    Wake and Bake

i have actually found myself in a sort of wake and bake schedule as of late as well.

ill wake up sometime between 7 and 830. Sit around for 30 minutes, checking the webs for all the goings on while i was in slumber. Then ill pack a bowl up, usually for the dr. puffer. And since its been really nice early in the morning, and all the kids are back in school and houses are empty around 8, i go out front, or out back of the house, and chill for a good 30-60 minutes smoking. I found that to start the day, in order to not feel crappy from the comedown is to smoke slowly, and spread the hits out, wait until you feel the last hit before you take another. It creates a real surreal evironment where you truly can just enjoy nature, and sit back and think, or talk to a friend on the phone, which has become lost to email, iming, texting, or myspace and facebook. It is very copasetic, and cleansing for the aura.

it's the best to be 'wake-n'baked' before I go to my 8 am class. especially if I have a test. I go sit under the trees and just enjoy the breeze and my buzz. Especially good if I have some killer tunes.
