Supplementing CFL with LED?
Extra light never hurts, I'm pretty sure of that one. =)
But, a helpful hint would be to get a second set of lights for flowering, which should be 2700k'ish. That is where the red/orange spectrum is. Yellows, greens and blues are more in the 4000+ range.BeFree Reviewed by BeFree on . Supplementing CFL with LED? Okay, the verdict's out on the LEDwholsalers.com grow panels (here read made in China?), they suck. However, would one of those 225 LED panels be okay to supplement my current 175 watt CFL setup? I'm looking to increase the red spectrum when flowering time comes; while staying within my current 5000 lumens per square foot, and without increasing the current 32 degrees Celsius cabinet temps. I managed to get one of those panels for about $25.00 on Ebay. I'm fully aware of the overall Rating: 5
