    lighting help sun blaze t5 48

    i have a sun blaze t5 48 total watts is about 450 not sure on the lumens i think 45000 but my question is do i need to change my lighting to somthing else when i go to flower or is this sufic.. also is it a ok thing to send my plants into flower after 15 days of veg to find sex and then return to veg

    You have to use the correct COLOR spectrum for flower. That relates to your useable lumens.

    You should not put plants in flower and then take them out. Instead, read about 'cloning for sex', whcih is outlined here:

    Starting at that post, you can follow the process. Go back to see how clones were actually taken, and the mother plants were ranked.

    can you explain a little more its my first graow and still learning thanks
    all that i have for a selection is the blue lights i have now a red light replacment and a green light replacment i dont know what the three of this would do diffrently and need to know when to change for flowering

    Use blue for veg and red for flower. Plants don't see green so that's only good if you have to go in the room at night and not disturb the plants. The blue light is like spring and the red is like fall. You can mix and match them for flower if you like but that's the basics. Good Luck,
