Your plants don't look to happy in the second picture. Looks like your getting enough light. Plus i'd use a smaller watt HPS for veg. I'd keep your 400 HPS for some flower. Any professional growers want to help this guy out? I always grow about three plants, I yield 37 to 58 grams per plant. One HPS and a couple CFLs on the lower it. Try using reverse tinfoil and creating a reflection to the underside of your leafs? Maybe more light? Just a word of advice for some thing I have tried. Good luck man.
