I finally got accepted for disability coverage! Which brings me to a question...
Woohoo!
Just thought I'd share with my beloved fellow board-members; the system has finally recognized me as disabled and designated me as such. Which means I'll have enough money to live on my own again, and access to all sorts of services.
So I figure what I'm going to do is use this time to take advantage of all the now-free rehabillitative services, get myself back in shape over the next year or two, and spend that time studying biology, chemistry, and math like crazy. Then it's off to school to get a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy, work as a pharmacist for a while, then either head into med school or get my Ph.D in pharmacy and research new medicines. Believe me, I'm committed to this!
And, this brings me to a very important question: do you think I could finally get quallified for medical marijuana with this disabillity designation? Because right now I have no hookups, and I specifically need a 100% indica strain that is so impossibly hard to find outside of the system. Anybody with experience in this? Are my chances improved? I'm British Columbia, Canada.Gandalf_The_Grey Reviewed by Gandalf_The_Grey on . I finally got accepted for disability coverage! Which brings me to a question... Well you definitely have a better chance now. I lived up in Van for a few years, and tried to get a card for panic/anxiety disorder but pretty much ever doc I spoke to seemed scared to even talk about it.
Many even said they were being recommended by their 'board of peers' that they not prescribe it at all.
Well, Ill say, you have a better chance then I  as far as heavy Indica in van, seems to be about all I can find :stoned:..would be nice to find a heady sativa 'round.....
Good Luck
