I've been reading and thought that maybe four 400wt hps would be enough for flowering 100 plants using sog.

Depends on how big you grow those plants.

first off this forum is for people growing for personal use, talk of commercial growing is forbidden. second your answering to someone who has not even been back on the boards since the original post.

most reliable way to grow 100 plants, is to grow 200 plants, and chop down every other plant (sorry, I'm an insufferable smartass ) and, yeah, commercial growing isn't supposed to be discussed here, gives off the wrong impressions :smokin:

the original poster might have got some unwanted attention with his 100 bud grow.(conspiracy and all)

that number of plants reguardless of size could get the grower federal time!

som countys in ca its not commercial,i know know its old but when i read the thing about stealing power i had to say something.at least for the 40 people that were going to read sed post an not respond.in sant rosa 30 plants is the max and in the green triangle its 99 for medical or recreation.commercial to me means a lot more than 100 plants,dont get me wrong.i stick with what i am allowed 2 by california law,however on a real scale say some one was in the buisness to make money, 100 plants isnt a lot.okokok so this has gone on long enough. any moderator feel like locking this thread down,it would make some people thrilled.i kinda like seeing were its going personally

honestly its always about the lumen to bud ratio that really counts notthe amount of plants u got there
the plants are pointless if u dont got the right amount of lumens
1000w should be good for 50 plants to bud really nice

the laws in america suck lol wtf is 30 plants for medical
wat u gonn go plant 30 and wait a coupl months to harvest? or plants 15 wait 2 weeks before harvest set up the next 15 in veg so u can et some kinda chain reaction and harvest 15 plants every month lol
