You may recall the Mighty Freeze grow that finished up almost 1 month ago. Shortly before the Mighty Freeze was harvested, I had begun growing 1 bean each of Red Colombian Haze (Colombian Red x Neville's Haze), PPP, and Bubblelicious. Shortly before I planted those, I had planted 3 bagbeans. Well, since I have wholly failed to update the MF log, and since all of the new ladies really deserve a spotlight of their own, I thought I would start a new thread - where we now find ourselves.

We join the action already in progress.... As of today, the RCF, PPP, and BBL are on DAY 21 of veg. The bagbeans are on DAY 41 of veg, and are starting to show some pre-flowers, so we'll consider tomorrow DAY 1 of flower, how 'bout? I had to remove 1 bagbean approximately 11 days ago, as he let his balls hang out. He is now hangin' out in my bathroom until such time as he will find a new home for others to hone their grow skills on him. I'll try to throw in a picture of him too.

All of the beans were started with the paper towel method, followed by Jiffy pellets. The Jiffy pellets were stripped of their netting (no roots showing through), and were transplanted into a small planter with MG organic soil and some Green Light rooting hormone. Once the pedigreed beans were ready to move into planters, I transplated the bagbeans into the next larger sized planters where they currently reside. The bagbeans received some Superthrive every other watering (when it wasn't raining), and received a couple of doses of Schultz 10-15-10 Plant Food Plus. I just gave the bagbeans their first dose of Green Light SuperBloom 12-55-6, and they seem to have gobbled it right up. I gave the pedigreed beans their first dose of Superthrive and the Schultz mixture, and they didn't take it that well. Luckily it rained after watering, so the rain served to flush a bit. The only other additive at this point is some neem oil to keep the dang bugs away, and it appears to be doing the trick - also serves to make the leaves all nice and shiny; I add this explanation, so y'all won't think I'm a big enough freak to wax and buff each leaf. Lastly, you will note the bagbeans have been lst'ed, and they are enjoying the heck out of it!

Of course, you'll note the relative youth of both the pedigreed and bag beans. They were started pretty dang late in the season, but I have plenty of time left before it starts to cool off here. I know for certain the bagbeans will be able to fully mature and flower, but there is a question as to whether the pedigreed beans will have sufficient time. I may have to finally break down and begin a small scale indoor operation to finish them up - finally getting off my lazy ass to do something constructive, but it would be a worthwhile cause for certain.

Work has been bustin' my chops lately. I've noticed several others who find themselves in the same predicament. With that said, I will try to keep this thread updated, and I will not hold the lack of responses against anyone - it's tough keeping up with all the aweesome grows happening on this board.

Alright, that's enough rambling for someone who hasn't even smoked yet, eh? I'll get on with the pictures, which should prove more entertaining than my writing. As always, I welcome any and all questions and advice, both of which should lead to my ladies being healthier.

First set of pictures will be today's photos of the pedigreed ladies. The first photo is of the Bubblelicious in the background and PPP in the forefront. The second picture is of the Red Colombian Haze. Then, I will include an apical shot of each in the same order. Following this post, I will share pictures of the bagbeans, which are probably more entertaining at this point.
