First Time Growing - Stinky Survivor

Hi to everyone on this site, I have heard that the users here are very knowledgeable on marijuana plants, therefore I have come to seek some help!

I have one plant, the strain unknown, although it has a very strong scent, which is why i have called it Stinky Survivor

Now, although it seems SS has been growing at a steady rate, I am still unsure whether it is a male or female--no tale tell signs have show. It is in at 32 days and because of its late start, i am unsure if it will flower in time (I live on Vancouver island and lately the weather has been overcast, and the temperature tends to drop in late September/early October)

I have provided some pictures for you guys to view. There also seems to be some bug eating away at it, but i am unsure (haven't caught the little bugger let!)

    Well, she does look healthy!

I'm gonna say you're probably not gonna see any signs of sex before it flips to it's flowering stage...I have NO knowledge of vancouver light conditions or weather so I can't help you there, but you can always take it inside, pray that it's a girl, and finish her up nice!

Thanks for the input Sunny! As you recommended that I transfer to indoor, I have already tried, but my roommate, and a good friend of mine, highly disapproves of marijuana

Also, can anyone identify the brown spots on the lower leaves? I have a suspicion that they were caused by an insect. And is it normal for the first two leaved to die off? I have read some posts and seen some pictures and it seems that my plant isn't the only one to do so.

I will post daily updates on SS, so please don't be shy to comment!

If your friend dissaproves of MJ you should tell him to read up on it a bit

tell him to read this link: Marijuana & The Bible

And look up medical marijuana research papers online and have him read those...

Don't worry about the plant's health, it's fine
There's no reason to dissaprove of such a versatile plant!

It can be used to make stronger fibers through hemp rope
It can be used as an effective ADD / ADHD prescription
It can be used to relieve pain caused by rare disease, Chemotherapy, Accidents
It can be used to relieve insomnia

Those are only a few purposes of this wonderful plant

Can someone shed some like on why in the 2nd picture, the lower leaf has a "hole" in it? And also in the 4th picture, although it is hard to see, there are some brown spots...any suggestions?

That sucks man.. This is why I tell people to hide there plants VERY well. Try again next year. You live in BC? head downtown vancouver there are a few places that sell seeds and for cheap... Also you wanna do a little research on growing outdoor before you get into it agian. This will help prevent alot of the problems you have had that you mentiond.

    Just a few friendly thoughts
