To defend students from any gun-toting maniacs, they can also carry loaded pistols into the classroom. The remote rural community has appalled gun-control advocates by becoming America's first to allow teachers to bear concealed firearms. Harrold's school board Rating: 5

The more weapons there are the easier they are for anyone to acquire.
I am only guessing but I would be willing to bet that most of the weapons used in school shootings are owned by the culprit and also fully legal.

It's just common sense; intentional slaughter is going to yield far more deaths than accidental collateral damage.

I suppose that would depend on a few factors.

So true! I think all schools should allow their teachers to carry concealed weapons.

In most cases it only takes one bullet. I would much rather have a CHANCE of saving many students lives then the CERTAINTY that if they weren't stopped right away they will kill more then if they were shot in the back of the head at the start.

It's simple really.
Party A has a fight with party B.
A punches B so B gets a stick and whacks A over the head, A get's really pissed so he gets a bigger stick to hit B with.
Thats how it starts and it ends with the current world situation of MAD.
The problem is made worse by the fact that the criminals will not hesitate to buy weapons that the law abiding can't buy, you have an AK so the crims buy something bigger and better that it would be illegal for you to buy.
It's definately a my dicks bigger than yours issue.

Like I said it only takes one bullet. The analogy you used isn't really relevant here, because how you say it it would be the same two people that were doing the fighting. Well in reality it would be different people every time so I don't think they would get anything that they already can't get now.

Lets assume for a second that I am a gunman determined to kill a few schoolkids.
I know some of the teachers may be armed so what do I do ?
Simple , I nail them first, if they don't see it coming it's impossible to stop.
I wait till lunch and while they're eating I spray thier lunch room with the fragrance of Uzi ..
I promise you that arming teachers you will not put an end to school shootings , as long as nutters can easily access weapons there will be more killings.
I find the analogy very fitting.
The beginning of a school based arms war, very similar to cops being outgunned by crims , what's to stop the kids getting bigger and better firepower.
