simple lights
this is my first time growing, and i havnt bought any equipment yet but i want to know lights would be best. all i ever read about is huge 200w - 400w lamps for large plants or crops, when all i want to grow is a single joint docter low ryder plant. any ideas for a smaller light which would do the job?

Compare the products that you are interested in.
But either way, you'll need about 150watts for a decent single plant.
Flat white paint or mylar on your walls with really help reflection.
If you want to optimize your growth and yield. Try researching some topping and LST methods. also known as pinch and bending.
then after having your lights, you'll need a good easy medium for growing in. You don't want to get a nice lowryder plant a month into veg and realize your dirt has no more food and micro-nutes to keep it healthy.
Oh yeah! I just remembered rhizome's thread on a nice working grow room.

Im basically wondering if a combination of red and blue (ie. warm white or cool white) is needed when growing Low Ryders or can I just use the RED bulbs for this strain as its pretty much straight to flowering?
Sorry if this is a basic question ppl!
Thanx
