    THC improves social skills?

It would be valuable to know the the ratio of sativa vs. indica in the old imported types of weed that were popular in the 1960's through 70's - i.e. Mexican, Jamaican, Columbian, etc. There were cultural changes in the pot-smoking communities and I've long suspected that as the drugs changed, so did the music, social trends, politics, psychology, etc.

Honestly, I avoid smoking with large groups of people, or with people I don't know. I find I get really quiet, and tend to over-think too much. Like, I'll start thinking into things too much, wondering if what I said was stupid or made sense, then I worry about what everyone else is thinking.

For this reason, I enjoy smoking by myself or with close friends/family rather than in public.

I get too scared to go out in public places when I'm blazed. My close friend who means well asks me, "Why are you scared? As long as you don't smell, no one will know." But that's not the issue. If I get really stoned, and feel really stoned, I feel I look really stoned, and I get paranoid.

My ability to make quick decisions without second thought is gone.

That paranoia comes from it's illegality. I personally couldn't care less but keep it low key. My panic attacks and anxiety have been so bad I can't leave my house without smoking a lot first. Going to work is the only time I leave my house.

I don't believe that THC improves me in anyway , it just makes me more tolerant of people.

it definitely helps me converse. When i'm :stoned:, I feel like I'm "on," witty observations and clever remarks effortlessly roll off my tongue, and i just feel like the best version of myself.

I'm really not sure if it does or not... I usually smoke alone. Although, the people I've been high with the most have become my very best friends, so maybe it does help me make friends... speaking of which, there's one I broke off friendship to and I want to try to make it right again during my weekend off. If I wasn't high I would never go to the effort to try to repair a neglected relationship. :rasta::1baa::sorry1:

depends on the strain, some weed will just straight up blaze me to the moon and all I can do is sit there like a red-eyed zombie lol, but thats the type I usually smoke after work or other times when im all pissed at people or whatever else, calms me down really quick.

and as said the more sativa leaning strains can make me more social, motivated to do things, etc.

I get the stupids. I also tend to stare and zone out a lot. It takes a lot of effort for me to be normal. I'm more of the type to get lost in my own thoughts. I find that alcohol is a much better social drug for me. But I do pretty well sober, too. If I want to tune everybody else out I smoke up.
