    Mother is suffering

    Hey All!!!
My Mother Plant is showing some ware and tear.
I reveged this plant about march 1. http://boards.cannabis.com/advanced-...r-harvest.html
I have had a VERY SEVER infestation of spider mites, after helping a friend keep their plants alive, and getting some new clones.
Yesterday I flushed the soil "thinking I have a salt buildup causing deficiencies"
This is one of my original plants from 12-6-07.
I usually keep them in good health.
temp around 76 to a max of 84
    fox farm soil and nutes
    I also suppliment a bit of Cal-Mag
24-7 lighting under fluorescent bulbs and on cool days I turn on the 400W MH

    Thank You for your input!!!

Metal lock-out. When did ya last repot? Peat based mix?

Direct causation is pH issues, but I think it's gonna be a media thing in the long run.

Flsuhing was a good call. Did you check the pH of the runoff as well? You need to be certain that the soil is about 6.7, and also feed lightly with a complete grow fert mixed weak.
I would get to where you see healthy new growht, and regenerate your mother plant from clones. Start a few, and keep the healthiest ones. If she was flowered in that same pot, you are sitting in old sour soil and it's going to be a hassle keeping her healthy from here in.

    Thanks rhizome and stinkyattic

    Great advise

I was in the frame of mind it was a metal lockout.
Hopefully the flush washed out whatever is the culprit.

Soil is Ocean Forest I'm sure some peat is in it but not the major component of the soil.

I did not PH the runoff, I just wanted to flush out the excess salts.

The soil she is in is about 2 months old not the soil I flowered in.

Also I have some clones of her but will take a few more then flower her for her last time.

    Thanks again for your input.
