Seed recommendation for a first time grower
Hi, I'm totally new to this but I'm getting myself sorted out to do a cabinet grow of a few plants (250w HPS). Still looking into all that.
What I'm looking for is a fairly hearty plant which won't be TOO fussy and can produce a mellow, giggly but not totally couchlocked high. I don't love super rushy highs where your heart feels like it's about to burst but don't like feeling like a large portion of my brain has been put on pause either. I suppose somewhere in the middle is good.
I'm not totally sure what strains of weed do what to you and why (and I'm having crap luck finding that info) so if anyone could help me out, I'd be most grateful.PlainJane Reviewed by PlainJane on . I am assuming that this is your first grow....if it is, then go with bagseed, (the seeds you get out of your own personal pot.)
You won't feel so bad if you mess up and kill em'. Otherwise, if your dead set on getting a hold of well known genetics, I'd recommend Northern Lights #5.

i am in the process of my first grow as well and just visited Toronto's seed bank. the guy there also suggested Northern lights, so I bought a 10 pack for $80. How are you constructing your grow box? I really appreciate your help. It looks like we are looking for the same thing- just want to grow a few plants for my own personal stash, but need some pointers. I don't think I will need a 400watt bulb for just 2 plants right? Where did you get yours?

Damn, thought I wrote that :stoned:. Great advice  It's pretty cool to see what the dry... dead buds looked like when they were growing up too. Like going back in time.

Thanks everyone. Unfortunately no bagseed at the moment (I stupidly picked the seeds out and threw them away a while back and don't plan on buying again, just growing) so I'm starting fresh. I had these particular two in mind, if any of you are familiar with them I'd love to hear it. The "Blue Cheese" sounds brilliant but I can't find any info on how difficult it is to grow.
I never thought finding seeds could be so complicated. hahathe pursuit of dankiness - an (old) grow log

Ooops, wrong link... BLUE Cheese. The Cheeses just intrigue me, I guess. no idea how they are to grow.
I think I like the idea of hybrids simply because I don't want to be TOO couchlocked or TOO tripped out. The husband and I just like to sit around and chat, watch TV, giggle, eat junk food, have sex, repeat. So nothing that makes you too dysfunctional or spaztastic, I suppose.
I wish I knew what it was I've been smoking all this time because I like it. It doesn't seem as common in the UK to know what strain it is that you've got.the pursuit of dankiness - an (old) grow log
