Sure, accidents can happen on weed, but that's true of any intoxicating substance. I understand all that. When I first started smoking the stuff I certainly was'nt on the understanding that it would become a very big part of my life, It somehow becomes the most important pocession you have and everytime you make a deal your ordering your next batch.

I'm not trying to discredit you in any way, but I think it's worth mentioning my dad, who's been a pretty regular smoker since he was a junior in college--he's told this to me.

He's gone on abrupt stretches of abstinence after years of smoking every day--some of these periods include the first few years of my life and my sister's.

His memory and mind are clearly non-fucked. You'd never know he's a smoker unless he told you. I know I didn't.

I'm just saying, drugs affect everyone differently. I've no doubt there are others like you, but there are also folks like myself and my dad--folks who don't leave the eggs frying, no matter how stoned we are.

Don't get me wrong, I don't advertise to people that I'm a smoker, I have a good job where I am relied on, I'm very active and I also care about people and believe in telling the truth about my experience, that does'nt stop me from smoking the stuff though. Ending on a positive note, my eye sight has improved, I see many things that others just don't see, I suppose I should call this a gift from the earth.

If it had a filter, she really wasant getting the full hit of it. ANd i would like to point uot now that i am fully against giving peopel drugs without realising it. And in answer to your other posts (i really can remember fully, drunk, straqngely enough ) Yes cannabis is addictive, but in the sense that we all love the effect it gives, peopel should admit that there addicted to the pleasyre from it. After a long time thinknig i no longer concider cannabis a drug but more of a way of life, it doesent destroy your life (unless you let it) but it can become a big aprt of it, but thats not nesecelarly (sp?) a bad thing.

your all missing the point, firstly cannabis is addictive, we all know that, It's wether were honest enough to admit it. Secondly it can be a dangerous drug, I know plenty of people to have accidents that would of been avoided If they were'nt stoned. I had a fire once, started to fry some eggs, something out of the window caught my eye and the next thing I was out in the garden cutting the lawn, I expect some of you can relate to that. -laughs- Most people who smoke weed can handle it. You sound like one of those people who can't and/or shouldn't. If you're getting so stoned that you're starting fires you need to stop getting stoned. Because honestly, most people who smoke marijuana LOVE the feeling, but that doesn't mean they're addicted to it. I love my mom, but I'm not addicted to her.

Sounds like you never learned the lessons that we're supposed to learn when you 'grow up'.

The lessons being: Everything in moderation and if you can't properly handle yourself while using a drug, DON'T USE THE DRUG.
