The other week I was out having a drink with a friends family and they were talking about one of their relatives being thin; and they were all like "oh it's that cannabis stuff that's keeping her thin, she needs to get off it" WTF!!!

I've also met people who think crack and weed are the same thing! lol

Or when there's a car crash or something and somebody says "oh, the driver was probably out of his/her mind on that pot stuff"

The people who make these silly, ignorant uninformed comments are usually no younger than about 40, they're all living in the past. They get fed a load of bullshit/propaganda by the government and it sticks with them, it's been etched into their minds and if somebody tries to tell them different they don't want to know. When I hear these stupid comments about cannabis it pisses me off but at the same time it's kinda funny and makes me laugh at how dumb these people are. I've tried to inform people like members of my family that weed is a beneficial drug and is not dangerous, not addictive, can't overdose etc... but it goes in one ear and out the other, they don't want to know and don't care yet they still enforce their stupid opinions. It's probably because I'm young that they don't take me seriously, I guess we'll have to wait for the government to tell everybody that this drug is harmless because it seems that the government is the only thing that most people will listen to.
When cannabis is legalised, I hope they praise the drug with the same effort and publicity that they used to trash it like when they made that stupid fucking film--
