I was one of those 38 second intervals once. Because of the repercussions of that event, I'm involved in shit that's fucking my life up. Depression, (real) drugs (that are somehow legal), legal issues. All of it unnecessary, expensive, and anxiety-inducing. And it happens every 38 seconds to someone?

wow... i truly feel incredibly sad and sorry for you and i hope that you recover from whatever it is that's keeping you where you are. i can't imagine going through something so life-altering.

it's just such a disappointment to realize that the criminalization of Marijuana causes more damage than the use of the drug itself...

Every criminal code is written to increase prison population. Modern prisons are private corporations whose stock is sold on NYSE, like Wackenhut. These commercial ventures depend on housing and working the livestock to earn a living. The best rolling stock is non-violent, intelligent young people. The best part for the corporations is that they can sell the services of its rolling stock at market value and pay slave wages - under 2bucks an hour, and even charge the rolling stock rent for their sleepin boxes. These corporations are all in the Fortune top 80.

The government gets the taxes from the corp profits and kickbacks and rollin stock also pay taxes. The governments also sell your case and all the bonds on the NY Bond market within days of your first arraignment.

Each bust means a lot of money in the system. As soon as you get numbered pieces of paper you are part of the NY Bond market, either municipal, state, or federal bond. It is about money.

Keeping hemp illegal is becoming moot as the patent on nylon and synthetiics run out and you can see a lightening of the legal efforts now that they have capitalized that investment. Jack Herer wrote a fine book on the bogus laws. Industrial hemp will legalize when the patents run out but the smoking kind still makes a lot of money for a lot of people who do not want to lose their jobs of power. We are up against a machine that also has power over the mass of media the drones are subjected to for information.
