Alright so I had a hair sample test last Friday and I'm paranoid as all hell.

It's for a new job that both my parents work at so I'm just feeling all kinds of pressure.

Kay so I have my prescription for marijuana, put I'm still scared and paranoid about other things so here's the info:

I'm 5'7 180 lbs and I smoke every day. I know the hair strand test goes back 90 days for an 1.5in worth of hair. But I stupidly used E once at the beginning of April, but my hair doesn't grow too fast and I'm worried about it. I bought this shampoo from a local head shop in a quite possibly futile attempt to save myself.

So I guess my question is what is the opinion on these shampoos? Would it help hide the marijuana and possibly the E if its still there?

I kind of have my hopes up because like I said I took the test last Friday and I have yet to hear from them regarding it. I did some minor research online and I read that it takes labs generally 2 days to get these results. So shouldn't they have called to tell me I failed already? I know that if they DON'T call me this week, I show up bright and early for work on Monday morning, which is what I'm praying for.

Which shampoo did you use? What color and kind of hair do you have? A daily user though, doesn't look good. You probably needed to do multiple treatments from the shampoo or other methods.

I used omni clean, the $40 dollar bottle, it was the only brand that the head shop I went to carried. Though I went online and looked up the brand and found out that they have something called a toxin wash that gets deeper into the hair.

But wouldn't they have called me already to talk about the test if it came up positive?

Oh and my hair is dark brown and curly.

Omni and Toxin Wash I believe are made by the same company. This could be because two brand names might equal possible higher sales. I don't think one is better than the other. Member JerryG knows this for sure.

That is a good point about not hearing anything for almost 5 business days. Don't give up hope! This is nearing the far end of the notice time scale. :thumbsup:

They say 3 sessions in a 90 day period with the full 1 & 1/2 inches of hair could test positive. Omni and some of the other commercial metabolite removing shampoos can reduce THC metabolites from the hair by 23-40%.
