Hi, This is nshelpf (need some help fast) I am 46 and the single father of 3 wounderful daughters 2-18 and 1-19 and I just found out that my oldest who was married a few months ago is having me a Grandchild.I should be on top of the world. But I have brain cancer and am terminal.They told me for 5 yr's that I had MS only to tell me after they finaly did the test they sould have done years ago it's not MS you have 4 inoprable brain tumors if we had only know sooner. I mean what do you say to that?I have been on the strongest opiate pain meds they have for so long that now they don't work and if I take enough to help they knock me out and I don't know if I will wake up or not.I am on 12-10 mg Methadone a day and can take up to 3-4mg Dilaudids a day for break thru.As well as the Klonopin anad anti depresants,testosterone and growth hormone. I'm tired! and now I'm in a wheel chair as the lesions have grown and are puting pressure on spinal cord nerves and my brain stem.I had the chance to try some alternative med.s if you know what I mean and it was wounderful it helped with the pain but also it gave my mind a chance to rest with out having to be knocked out.They say I really don't have long, but I have so many things that I want to tell my daughters and to pass on to them,and thing for them to pass on to my dear Grandchild but I can't do it out cold on opiates Medical cost are high and I live only on disabilaty.Anyway If anyone out thair has any ideas or suggestions I'd love to hear them. Oh! and another thing I found with the alternative med.s was it helped my appetite.I must say though that I am not in a sympothetic state. It is so very good to meet you all am sure I will make some of my best friends right here. As I have looked at some others that where very interested in you and how much you could spend if you know what I mean. Thank you all and I look forward to hearing from you soon! P.S.
