Clinton backer: party threatened delegate status

A Colorado Democratic delegate and former Hilary Clinton supporter said a state party official wanted her to resign her post because she made disparaging comments about presumptive presidential nominee Barack Obama.

KMGH-TV and The Denver Post reported that the Colorado Democratic Party said Monday the issue is resolved and they wonâ??t ask Boulder delegate Sacha Millstone to resign.

That was not the case last week, Millstone said.

She said state political Director Billy Compton wrote her an e-mail telling her to come to his office to explain her â??comments and why you should remain a national delegate to the 2008 Democratic National Convention in light of these comments.â?

Millstone told KMGH Monday she made the comments about Obama to another delegate in a private e-mail. It wasnâ??t immediately known what those comments were.

â??I think that one of the reasons I got this letter was to intimidate me,â? Millstone told KMGH. â??It sounded very totalitarian. I thought it sounded undemocratic and I was completely shocked.â?

Is this suprising for the DNC concerning Obama? Superdelegates that supported Clinton were being harassed and threatened during the primary race.

Seems this is a theme with the Obamites....."Follow the Savior or else!".
