BEST MENTAL IMAGE OF THE WEEK: Firing of spear gun at dive shop leads to arrest

Firing of spear gun at dive shop leads to arrest

A man who Collier County Sheriff's deputies say fired a spear gun into a wall after threatening customers at a North Naples dive shop Tuesday was arrested on a felony charge, reports state.

Denis Roland Bousquet, 52, 2092 Fairmont Lane, Golden Gate Estates, was charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

Arrest reports say Bousquet was attending a Naples Pier cleanup meeting at Naples Dive Center, 2700 Immokalee Road at approximately 5:45 p.m. Bousquet is a frequent customer at the shop, reports said.

Bousquet picked up a spear gun from a sales rack and loaded it with a spear, reports said. He then began walking toward other customers in the store. There were about 10 other customers in the store, reports said.

Lisa Granucci told deputies that Bousquet was flaunting the spear gun around the store, saying, ??What should I shoot?? Granucci said Bousquet then pointed the spear gun at her and said, ??How about I shoot you??

Granucci told deputies that she did not know Bousquet and was in fear for her life.

Store owner Arthur Steven Knipschild told deputies that he became alarmed when Bousquet pointed the spear gun at Granucci. Knipschild said he ran over to Bousquet and noticed that the safety on the gun had been switched off. He told Bousquet to unload the spear gun and then reached over and switched the safety back on, reports said.

Bousquet then turned the safety back off and told Knipschild that he wanted to fire the spear gun, reports said.

Knipschild attempted to grab the spear gun, but Bousquet turned away from him and shot a spear into the wall, leaving a large hole, reports said. Knipschild grabbed the gun from Bousquet and ordered him to leave the store, reports said.

Bousquet then left the store. Deputies located Bousquet at his home and arrested him.

    HAHAHAHAAHHAHAHAHAHAH

WHAT A FUCKING NUTJOB! Look at his fucking crazy ass picture!

Hahahahaha for some fucking reason I am fucking dying over here! This has to be my favorite crazy story. I just keep on having the image of that lunatic with a spear gun, a fishing hat, and screaming "ahoy matey!" before firing off a spear into a random group of people.

    Oh it hurts to breath
