I agree, people are not taking education as seriously as they should. And these people mate and have children with similar dissinterests in learning.

But about the whole dream state when you die thing, I watched a thing on T.V. about something like this. They say that even though your brain is still active for a while that "dream state" is really just oxygen deprivation. And that's probably why people think they see heaven with their near death experiences.
