I doubt if any insurance company would pay a "pot doc"! You have medical records? You are 19? With a legit problem? You got it made, hon!

Check with NORML's list of cannabis friendly doctors. Pick one. Make an appointment. Medicann's clinics are cheap and not fussy. Walk in with your records and the $ ($85- $250) and walk out an hour later, "California legal".

Getting the money will be the hard part. The appointment goes like this. Girl takes your height/weight/etc and your records. Doctor comes in with records. Asks if pot helps your pain. Gives you a quick lecture on the law and usage. You pay the girl. She gives you a paper. That's it. You are now "legal" to have 6 mature plants and 8 ounces of bud.

Nothing except the paper from the doctor is needed to be "California legal". The County Cards, are purely optional! I don't have one, because I trust the local government about as far as I can toss the county courthouse! If you pay for the visit, the insurance company will never know! Your medical treatment is just between the doc and you.
