No, that's ok. Was in hopes of getting my hands on a stinky-clone.

Rusty Trichome Reviewed by Rusty Trichome on . I need some help. HI all, I am having some problems with my Haze x skunk #1. It is in the 5th week of flower and it may be dying. All the big sun leaves are turning yellow and falling off and the tips have been curling upward into little rolls. I am trying to flush the soil with ph 6.8 tap water. It has 3-4 more weeks of flowering but I fear it will die. The inner bud leaves are still green for the most part but Ive lost all of the big sun leaves. I wonder if its getting enough oxygen. Should I try Rating: 5

advice from rusty n' stinky will mos def serve you right. the shit i have learned from reading there posts is priceless.

I agree that at first it looks like overwatering, I had and have a similar problem. around the six week of flower my plants take a serious turn towards death. At first I thought it was normal which it kinda is. However, my grow space is a small concrete crawl space with one bathroom fan bringing in air from outside. At first I was growing just a plant or two, now that I am growing between 5-6 plants my problem is a bit worse. leaves start to curl down, yellow/browning of leaves, crispy deadness sort of texture. I figured the problem was now I have 5 or 6 plants fighting for the same air that was seemingly barely enough for 2. Unfortunately i can't add more air intake without getting completely obvious, so I will just grow around 4 or so plants and open up the door a couple times a day to give more fresh air (and releave the heat) and just deal with it until I can get a bigger space.

Also I don't know the scientific facts on this but I figure the bigger the buds get, the more air your plant need. So the air that was sufficient when they were just starting to produce will not neccessarily be sufficient when they are fullgrown women. Does anyone concur?

CRS... there is a very simple solution for you limited-intake types...
CO2 tank enrichment!!! Aww Yee. Take it from a cellardweller... Now my attic stinks 4 stories up. ; )

Thanks CRS, thats good advice. I have a sativa in between two WW which are doing splendidly but the sativa just seems to be struggling. It is much longer (bent via LST). I think Stinky is right and it got root bound. It doesn't appear critical though, thank God. The sativa has over three weeks to go until harvest. These buds are small and loose but taste extraordinary IMO. The small leaves around the buds are still green for the most part... fan leaves are toast. I plan to just let the soil air out and then continue leaching with tap water. I will post pictures in a week or so. I hope it rebounds and starts en massing the buds.
    Thanks to all. MH

Stinky, I would do CO2 enrichment but haven't found a practical way. I have a small tank but I have to have my air filter on all the time because it cools my lamp. The ppm would get high enough to do much good.

yes, I need to get up on the co2 as well. I guess I have been kinda lazy about finding a gas distributer. Im sure I could have a buddy send me a regulator, but i\m not sure where to start looking for a tank. no grow shops in CR. Is it true that the companies who stock commercial grade soda fountains supply tanks?

I think I have found my weekend quest, thanks for the poke:thumbsup:

Happy, run your lamp duct separately from your room exhaust. Have it intake from, and exhaust, OUTSIDE the room. That way, you don't lose your CO2.

Thanks Stinky, I will consider that. I picked up some Cal/Mag and RO water. I hope it helps revive it. I'll post pictures in a week or so. Happy.

I think the Cal/Mag is helping. I've pull the dying fan leaves and the buds look lush green and the buds are starting to bulk up. Back on track it seems, Thanks to Stinky!!! Mr. Happy.
