    Need lots of help

Hello, I'm new to this forum and wanted to say hi to everyone and thank you for your help in advance ^^

I'm also new with what regards growing, and I just bought some feminized (is this how u spell it?) seeds from barney's: 5 night shade and 5 violator kush.

I was thinking of growing them in my closet (not so cool but the best place i can get :P). The space is not that much but i think i can fit thm both in.

So... how do i start? what do i need?

I wanna do something cool but, as u can see, i don't really have all the resources at hand, so i'd like to get the best i can from these babies without getting my life too complicated ^^

    thx

Ps i don't know crap 'bout growing

read from the links in my sig to get a better basic understanding of the plant.
i would start with a bagseed so you dont kill your good paid for seeds.
make sure you have plenty of ventilation

Read that ^^^ and also the link in my sig.
How will you handle exhaust? You will probably need to buy a second spare closet door and cut a couple large duct holes in it so that you don't damage the one you are using now and lose your security deposit.

Might be helpful to check-out some completed grow logs, too. If doing a closet grow in soil, find a similar growlog and read from start to finish. Write down any questions you may have about equipment, supplies and plans, and I'm sure we can help a bit more.
Especially pay attention to the lighting, ventilation, soil and nutes.
Are you going to risk using them all on the first shot, or are you playing it safe and saving half of 'em for emergencies...?

Actually, my copy was quite cheap. The photo pages all fell-out the second day I was reading it, but perhaps they were made for removal, lol.
Not sure if any updates or revisions have happened, but it does still have good info in there.
That's what's so fantastic about this site, tho...Any questions you may have, or situation you may encounter...likely we've been there, and done that. Near-instant gratification. (and the pictures don't fall out)

One other thing about the book...gives you something to read when they do a maintenance shut-down, here
    on CanCom.

Have you started thinking of a plan?

This is just lazy man. At least try to find the easiest information by yourself so you can ask questions and understand the answeres.

CB are easy plants to grow but they smell a lot, need a lot of light but also some complete darkness on exakt times every day for 7-9 weeks. They might have to be toped, NST'd or ScroG'ed depending on how small are u have to grow. You WILL need ventillation with odor control if u don't want everyone to know you are growing dope etc etc.

Now when you haven't read up on anything to start with all we will answere will just prompt new questions so you are basically expecting us to do the woek for you.
Learn the basics by just cruising around this forum and the net for a couple of hours. Get the film "Jorge Cervantes ultimate grow" would be a great idea too as it explains the basics very well.
Then think about what you need, look for information about that on the net again and then come back and ask what you dont get. It will be much easier for you to understand for you also then.

Welcome to CB growing though, if u start prepared you will have tons of fun growing these plants.

Would really wait to see, before blindly accusing him of being lazy, Puffy. At least he got a reference guide, and has been told where to look, and what to look for. And, he hasn't tried to push the responsibility of his gaining knowledge, on anyone else.
Perhaps I haven't had enough coffee, and am not on top of my game this morning, but he seems ok so far, lol.

It's not really lazyness, i'm just trying to get more info from enough different ppl and then decide what is best ^^

Anyway thx for the explenation man

Now i have another question, do you think i can fit at least one of the two plants in a closet with these measures: 41cm wide, 55cm deep and 60-90cm tall?

At least for the first 2-3 weeks until i find a better and wider spot...

I'd wanna fit both but i'm afraid just one of them will be tight in there, right ?

    Lets see...carry the...decimal here...

    So about 16" x 21" x 30ish ANS (American Nonsensical Standard)
Sounds more like a shelf in a closet, lol.

Depends on the size of the pot. You can fit however many will fit, lol.

6-1 gallon pots, or 2 to 4 - 2 gallon pots, or 2-3 gallon pots, or 1 - 5 gallon pot (or larger) The larger the pot, tho...the higher the plant will sit. (takes away from headroom)
With limited headroom, you'll have to decide whether you want more headroom for a maturing plant (permenant in the closet) or more soil capacity. (definatelly going to move soon)
If planning on moving them soon, not likely an issue.
If seeds are not in the ground yet, start them in little "kegger cups" (cheap plastic cups with holes cut in the bottom for adequate drainage Often found at beer keg parties) or a similarly sized cup. They'll be in those cups for at least a few weeks, till rootbound.

Whatever you do, you'll have to keep in mind that you'll need ventilation and a fan on 'em.
