Urgent: Lamp Fell On Plant.......So one of my lamps fell on my plant (poorly secured I KNOW) it split the stem but is still attached. Wasn't sure what to do, I could make a clean cut and clone it or could I try to put it back together hoping it heals?

Would honey help ? I've heard it has been used as a rooting gel, could I theoretically place honey in the center, pull the branches together to support it and hope it heals? or just cut it off clean and try to use it as a clone?

Thanks............. Waiting replies ................. MEDIC!Dyranty Reviewed by Dyranty on . Urgent: Lamp Fell On Plant....... Urgent: Lamp Fell On Plant.......Chopstick, duct tape, splint, tape up.
Add a third chain to your light so that even if one of the chains breaks or slips off, the light is still secured. That is a fire hazard. I always add redundancy to systems.

Urgent: Lamp Fell On Plant.......Thanks, I've done some patch work, I was worried because it was one of my top branches ( plant was FIMmed) . It was a Y branch split down the center right branch got less :\ I freaked out bond it up and put some honey in between.

What signs should i look for if it starts to die? I'd much rather save it then let it die........... Not a lot of a wilting yet. But still worried. Just watered right before this too.

Thanks for the quick reply............. this is my favorite out of the bunch.... gah.

Urgent: Lamp Fell On Plant.......I'm a little concerned about the honey; while it does have some great qualities, I'd worry that it might allow rot or hold too much moisture.
Splits at a 'y' are less dangerous to the plant than you would think; the most important part is that the vascular tissue is undamaged, and you can prop it back up and expect healing.

Urgent: Lamp Fell On Plant.......Luckily when I used It, I didn't go crazy. I used less then the width of dime of honey. I keep messing with it im so worried about it. Now I want to remove everything wipe the honey off and check on it ! errrr.

This is what happens when I'm sober........... Being drunk or stoned might of fixed my urge to continuously mess with shit.

 Poor Swamp Thing.........
