A Number Stoners Actually Need to Remember

Or at least, let's write it down guys.

Just recently launched the "Washington State Potline" is a toll-free call center where people can get information on medical marijuana laws, attorney referrals, and report medical marijuana arrests or prosecution. The "Potline" was started by the Cannabis Defense Coalition to help hold state agencies and law enforcement accountable that "that violate the spirit of the state's medical use of marijuana act." Of course, in our opinion, prosecuting sick people for something that is legal violates far more than the spirit of the law.

You can call the Potline 24/7 for recorded information on the state's medical marijuana laws. If you want to talk to a real person, the line is staffed by volunteers weekdays from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Alright, we've given you a paragraph or two to prepare for memorization or transcription of the number...ready folks? The Washington State Potline number is: 888-208-5332.

Hopefully none of us will never need it. But, if that day comes, we're glad it exists.

It would be nice if other MMJ states had a service like this! Remember to tell them "Thank you!"- Granny :hippy:

Good find. I would like to see the state attorney get involved in some of these cases. Seen a few here in my neck of the woods where the sheriff is ripping up personal grows first and asking questions latter.

Down in Cali, we got the "clone" of your sheriff! He has decided that if it looks like your 6 LEGAL plants are going to produce more than 8 oz total, he will rip them out and bust you!

"Siskiyou County sheriffs will also make arrests if a legitimate user has only six plants, if the plants appear to have the potential to produce more than eight ounces of processed marijuana."

From the Mt Shasta paper just last year (the link isn't active any more- sorry- check the archives?) This link is to a post where I mentioned it-
International Cannagraphic Magazine Forums - Siskiyou county sheriff's office harassing MMJ patients

Talk about twisting the law to suit your own agenda!

Here they don't care how many plants you have. The good thing is we have a couple pretty good judges and they'll just through the case out if it looks like the sheriff was screwing around. But of course too late then. The people have already lost there medication and have to go to the black market.
