How do I attatch my socket to reflector?

Ok so I see in pictures little boxes and such attached to the socket attatchd to the reflector but I don't know how I am suppose to set this up? I got a ballast kit and i am unsure how i set the socket up to the reflector holder thing... the back of the socket is attached to a metal thing with a threaded hole 3/4 in dia or so which lines up to the hole in the reflector holder thing.. i guess my question is what piece do I need to put in there so that the socket is held in place? I can take pictures and upload them if this description is confusing but I am sure all of them are sort of set up the same way... thanks for help in advance.

If I follow what you're askin'....go to the electrical section, there are fittings that fit into those holes in the metal electrical boxes...they are threaded and have a threaded washer on them that acts like a nut. But the threaded piece itself will screw into the top piece of the mogul socket.
