Well I think that your lucky to have friends that care that much for you. I think it shows how much that like you and want you in their lives, trust me I have to keep some of my m8z in cheak and they know that I take the direct approach....

I agree! I mean you have got to know that doing drugs is not the best choice. To me it sounds like your friends love and respect you, thats great!

So my advice is live with it or stop smoking, unless of course you want to get rid of what sounds like a great bunch of friends. The guy I'm dating now does not do any drugs and has only tried pot a few times, he does not push but tells me he would like me to stop, because he cares!

ive thought of doing shit like that all the time.... once i was in a packed theater wit all my antiweed friends, and i secretly took in a hit and blew it at all their faces with out them knowing... ya they got 2nd hand thc.

Agree with lilred and kiwi. Is it just the weed or other stuff that has them concerned? I had a girlfriend who didn't smoke, she kinda minded and she wished I would quit but she didn't say too much to me about it cause my grades were a lot better than hers. (she wanted me to quit weed, I wanted her to stop falling asleep in the library lol) So if you wanna stop them from worrying just do better than them at school and then it'll contradict their whole smoking weed makes you dumb thing.

I like spite as a motivator. If someone tells me I'm dumb for smoking, I'll still smoke but work twice as hard as them and put it on them on every test just to prove a point.

Before you burn bridges, friends with the courage to talk to you like they do are very rare in life, friends who would be willing to make you hate them because they're looking out for your best interest are even more rare you should cherish them.

Ive had freinds like this my whole life...Some of my freinds smoke...some are straight edge and some smoke and are straight with e verything else...Just tell them your the same person and tehy shouldnt think differently of your freindship because of a drug you do...I dont think its anyones right to tell your parents the things you are doing on your own time...But it prob just shows how much tehy care for you..To each his own.

Hmmm, you need to get your friends attention and tell them that Marijuana is harmless. Say that it wont ruin your life, and that before you did that you'd stop smoking.

All my friends are cool with it. So is my boyfriend. Hes tried getting high like 4 times but never got high just buzzed so he stoped. Sucks cuz if he got high i know he'd love it so much.

Do some research, get the facts, print them out and have all your replies to your friends' uninformed comments ready. Then sit down with them and ask them to have a civilized discussion regarding the effects of the drug. If you've done your homework, you should be able to easily contradict anything they tell you about it severely damaging your health or otherwise affecting your life negatively. Get them to understand that the only bad things about smoking pot are because it's illegal. Tell your friend who thinks your life will be over at 30 when you fail a drug test that (a) drug tests are extremely easy to cheat on or sober up for, and (b) not getting one job isn't going to ruin your life since there are always other jobs out there and some of them are for people who respect others' rights to do what they please in their free time.

Tell them it doesn't really destroy brain cells, that it doesn't give anyone cancer, that pot smokers who don't do other drugs have the same mental capabilities as non-smokers. And have the research to back it up.
