Filing Dissability and being a MMJ pateint
I just went in to my doctors office to talk about my meds,They changed it last week and it got me very depressed and it didnt work, also all the swimming that i been doing(well, basically light stretches and stuff in the water) I do for an hour a day,my pain has gotten worse and its really aggrevating my hip.
While we were discussing all this he looks at my chart and says "what?!....what is this?......oh! Your filing for dissability?!" I told him yeah and his mood changes, tellin me the pain will always be there and how I need to deal with it.He became kinda upset,I dunno why that would make him upset or maybe me telling him the pain meds he been prescribing me have made me Very very Depressed, but he told me to go get xrays and as Im walking out he's yelling at me to stop eating pork and not to fry my foods and other patients were just laughing cause they heard and all,so I just sorta sucked it up and laughed and joked along too,but I really want a new doctor....the only thing is this guy has my paperworks from the SSI......If when I choose a new doctor,do they normally send the SSI stuff as well?

Have the sexitary make copies of all your chart notes from your doctor and ask for copies of the ssi reports too. I would definitely find a new doctor.

Anyone know if there is a website that you can check for updates to your claim?
If there even is something like that.

Not that I know of but they should have sent you a notice as to who your claim manager is and a phone number to call them.

Right on,I got that...gonna call them today.
I just went in for another doctor appointment and I watched as he wrote down:
"will be returning to work in 3 months"
I asked him why he wrote that and he told me
"thats are goal were shooting for,no one should be out of work for 2 years, you need to go work"
I was like,:
"I cant walk more than 40 feet let alone sit down for a half hour at a time.....
He just told me,"if when 3 months comes the pain is still there and everything, then we will aim for another 3 months"
Now I am bummed because I am in a clinic with about 5 diffrent doctors and they all seem to have diffrent opinions, and this goofball is the one sending in my papers, lol
Im gonna ask my dad to get me back to his freind who was my doctor before,Does anyone know if when they send for my records if it will say I am a medical Marijuana Patient?
Im thinking about calling a lawyer, but does that mean I have to go to court for this?

Do not be too worried if it fails this time. You can refile a new case with new evidence as many times as you want. Just consider the first one a learning experience.

You should be able to sign up for state welfare. If you've already been diagnosed the state can help out. I don't know how it works there in cali but here in washington its pretty easy. Then you can get a small monthly check and medical coverage. I'll do some more looking to find the law for SSI or SSDI for hepatitis c.
