Say what you want, but if I had to do it all over again I would contact a Lawyer and have them do it for me from the beginning.

I'm about 8 months into the process of filing for SSDI. They don't get told nothing about any cannabis use. So far my case has been going ok. Just slow but I knew it might take 2 years so I was prepared. Done everything myself so far but if my first application is turned down I'll get an SSI attorney.

Something to that effect. I've known people who are not permanently disabled but still obtained SSI. They recover, go back to work, and get off SSI.
Once you get SSI you'll have to worry about someone reporting you for not actually being disabled(at least that's what they'll tell SS) then you have to get new paperwork from your doctors stating the same old crap. I think, or you resend your old paperwork and get a new letter from your doctor stating you're still disabled.
I can't remember exactly.
Bottom line it's your condition that makes you disabled or not. You just need medical professionals to state such.

You'll get SSI with no problem other than it taking what seems like forever.
If you don't have copies of ALL of your medical records, you'll want to start obtaining them.
Ok since I can't remember anything, wonder why...My mom says it took her 9 months after she sent off the paperwork that she recieved SSI and "back pay".

Isint it BS that the docs will prescribe all these opiates and if someone actually uses somthing that REALLY helps them they would lose everything? Ridiculous state I live in :P

I hope they dont test me,I cant stand taking those meds,FOr one,They dont work,my doctor had me increase my meds, this is no joke, they wernt working! At one point I was taking 12 Vicodin a day,4x3 a day.My stomach and kidneys would ache bad, come to find out,my chiroprqactor told me those meds are only for limited use,like......after surgery or for a week....not to be taken on a daily basis for extended times.
I feel alot better now,Thanks you guys, very comforting to know it is possible to get ssi,I was just worried that being a medical MJ patient, that would excluded me from reciving it.

I've got a family member in the same predicament. Until I educated her on the wonders of subbing with synthetic urine. They even watch her everytime.
I just got back from a phsyco analist for my SSDI. She's more nuts than I am.lol
