that was the most pumped ive even been while watching the Olympics in any year! I was just screaming at the TV. LOL, and my girl who doesnt like sports was right there with me. Truly a great moment in sports! USA USA USA !!!

come on, Olympics boring! whens the last time you saw an athlete that is as dominate as michael phelps get that excited over a win. Football, baseball, basketball are all a bunch of spoiled millionaires that play for money. It was one of the few times that seeing that pure excitement from an athlete made me so proud to be an American!

i agree fully, and watching the slow mo, not that we lost, cause we are the US and we dont lose anything important, but it seems to me that both the US and france teams touched first, though being awesome as we are we actually can aim at things and can touch the pad your trained for months and years to touch to make the lap count. It was purely physical error, though it goes to show that the us is the best seeing as we make less mistakes! i cant wait until the winter olympics though, cause for some crazy reason, i have a natural attraction to curling, i find it almost relaxing to watch.

Tonight was fun. That men's gymnastics team is amazing, and I have loved watching Michael Phelps keep adding to his tally of gold medals. Many of y'all weren't alive back when Mark Spitz worked his swimming magic and won 7 gold medals at the 1972 Olympics in Munich. It's fun to see someone who's young enough to practically be his grandson surpass that tally!

Oh I LOVE the Olympics! But I prefer the winter games because it means one thing:

    CURLING!

My fave game for the summer games is badmitten.

I like these games because it seems like I could do both and be relatively decent.

BTW America is kicking ass and taking names! Were #1 right now with 27 medals (thanks Phelps haha), China is following with 22 medals and #3rd place goes to South Korea with 12 medals.
