    Quick Fix Contaminated

I bought quick fix to pass a pre-employment drug screen about a month or so ago and prepared it for use but then wasn't hired on after the interviews. And i can't seem to remember if smoked/handled weed that day or washed my hands before handling/preparing it by switching from the initial cap to the pour cap and possible touching the threads/rim of the bottle. Is there a high risk of contaminating the synthetic urine with microscopic residue on my fingers? If so could it have already metabolized inside the bottle? I have searched online and found nothing that addresses this. Can anyone help?

    Quick Fix Contaminated

No Guy, Theres no way you can Contaminate it like that but removing or changing the caps is not good because if you spill QF in the threads or cap it will dry and flake off when you reopen the bottle and that can contaminate QF with flakes. I believe after heating and shaking they will dissolve but I'm not sure on that.

Just make sure it's QF, 4.0 or 4.2 and if its 4.0 check the batch number. It needs end in 06 or higher and that is located on the top left of the piece of paper with the directions inside the box. 03 thru 05 are old and can be exchanged for free at Spectrum Labs. They will work, but should be exchanged.

Why not test the QF with a Urinecheck7 validity test strip? That way you'll know if the QF batch is still good. The validity strips check to see that the creatinine, pH, specific gravity, etc are within acceptable limits.

    Quick Fix Contaminated

Checking the validity of it isn't really the issue. A friend of mine told me recently that he failed a drug test using quick fix. He said he failed for marijuana. I thought how is that possible since he used fake piss. I thought of 2 possibilities this happened. Either he had weed residew on his hands and contaminated the nossle upon using it causing a false possitive.(He replied "No, there was nothing on my hands.") Or they could just tell he was a stoner. (He replied "Well i was really blazed when i took the test.") So That's what has me nervous about usuing it. Because i think it's my best choice to pass the urine test to move up from a temp job i just started to hired on full time. But don't yet have my 1st check to buy a new QF. Any thoughts? Is there a better way, less risky way to pass?

I have to believe that your friend might well be feeding you a line of shit because he didn't want to admit messing something up. If his Quick Fix tested positive for THC it's the first time it has been reported to have failed in such a manner that I know of.

Someone definitely had to have contaminated it. THC doesn't show up on its own. Washing your hands after handling weed isn't good enough if your going to be taking a drug test. Use a little alcohol to wash your hands and then use soap and water.

He couldn't have failed for pot because they are looking for a metabolite, not the substance itself. In theory you could have a residue (minute amount) of pot residue from handling bud contaminate the piss cup ect, and still pass. QF or any other synthetic urine does not have this metabolite in it. Your friend is bssing you.
