Thank you for contacting my office. It is always a pleasure to hear from the people back home, and I greatly appreciate your recommendations and advice. I am also encouraged to hear that you are interested and involved in the legislative process. As Congress debates these issues and related legislation in the coming weeks, you may be sure that I will keep your views and specific ideas in mind.



Regarding my governing philosophy, I firmly believe in the Constitution and the Rule of Law, and am committed to protecting the Constitutional rights and pocketbooks of every American. As legislation is considered on the House floor, there are four questions that I use to analyze every bill before I cast my vote. Is the legislation:



1) Right / Moral? 3) Needed?

2) Constitutional? 4) Affordable?



If the legislation does not meet all four components of this test, I will vote against the bill.



I love this country, and I love our great state of Georgia. I assure you that I will continue to do all that is in my power to preserve, protect, and defend the United States, the state of Georgia, and our uniquely American way of life.
