I also think y'all who want to point the fingers too strongly in a partisan direction need to read the autobiographical work of John McCain, who has admitted he cheated on his first wife after she was disabled in a car accident, and New Gingrich, who did the same thing after his wife was diagnosed with cancer. Folks cheat on both sides of the aisle, and politics is fraught with those temptations.
My finger pointing is far less political and far more personal. I don't approve of McCain or Gingrich or anyone for that matter who would cheat on their wife. Cheating is scummy to begin with. I try to keep how I feel about politics and how I feel personally over a situation like this seperate. If I didn't then I probably be about 15-20x more disgusted with the politicians in power as I'm sure they've all had their dirty little sexual secrets.
