I grow in the mn/wi region and have had nice results from starting plants right before may indoor and then outside first or second wk of june. Second wk this year cause we have had it soo cold and really no good rain that will soak. I planted six already sexed plants outside and now down to one. damn wind and dry temps and don't forget the deer and rabbits... oh and the one left is still vegging with warmer temps this coming week and a bit of rain I am hoping to make up some growth before flower.

Thanks for all of the advice Cheeba and Frosted... Today i went to the store and bought 2 energy smart light bulbs which produce 1750 lumens each.

Do you guys think that it would be best to place the plants under the lights 24/7 or only bring the plants inside during the night and place under the light?


Hey Cheeba the meadow your growing.... Is that your own land or just random land your wandered upon; because that looks like an amazing spot to grow... i would just be worried about people stumbling upon it.

That place is my own land. It is a fantastic place to grow. Don't have to worry about anyone!

yeah i am also from the north eastern mn area and started my babies april 21 indoors and didnt move them outside till end of may, out of the three different strains i have growin...power skunk, pure power, and some random afghan beans i pulled out of a sac...... they didnt show sex till about 2 weeks ago, i finally have my first confirmed females, 2 being the afghan strain and 1 being my power skunk. I still have a few more plants left to go in showin obvious sex which worries me about being able to harvest in time. My skunks are over 7 feet tall now and my Afghan strain is about 4-4 1/2 feet tall. Also my pure power was supposedly a feminized seed and it still shows no sign of sex yet and seems almost stunted (about 3 n 1/2 feet tall) but it's finally takin off good now that i got it some good vegin food in it a month ago...now i just gave them their initial flowering feeding of Fox Farm Big Bloom which I am hoping will speed things up a lil or at least pay off with a larger harvest . But checking that site listed above showing the freezin dates i am afraid if i will have any mature plants in time! ...........
