Marijuana in Minnesota??

Just got done harvesting several plants. Lots of buds and the plant was about 6 feet high in Minnesota location. Just did 2 plants as I'm a newbee but they turned out great. Started indoor and moved outside in early July when they were a foot high. Good luck to you!!

yeah , minnesota can be a great place to grow outdoors. i lived there for like 10-11 years and grew outdoors 4 or 5 of them. u just got to use really short
flowering time strains. we did Northern lights and afghani#1 from sensi seeds
that always finished no later than early october which is still plenty warm enough there for them to finish perfect and we always got some cool looking
colors from the plants when harvest time got close because it was starting to cool off quite a bit by that time.

Ya i too am going to be growing outdoors in Minnesota this year and found a great site that tell frost dates all over the place.

Well, obviously yes. If you put them outside after last frost and they are a foot tall you just cut out about 4 weeks right there.

My clones will be ranging from 6 inches to just over a foot by last frost when they go out. My 3 moms, which are going too, will be masive bushes.

check out cbs seeds through kind seed .com It is impossible to import now as customs gets the envelopes, however,take a trip to b.c. Have a solid itinerary including tickets to a game as canadian custums can be pricks. coming back is a sinch. on kind seeds cbs, you will find several potent strains that can tough out northern weather and finish no later then mid sept. My favorite is lethal purple. unless it gets cool early you wont see much purple but who cares. these f1 were some of the most uniform plants producing very heavy resin and a consistan finish between 12 oz. to a pound a a peice by mid sept. they stunk so bad that I could smell them from 30 yards awawy and only had five plants. It was a favorite all over. All i did was dig 2 foot wide by 3 feet deep holes, put 3" rock on bottom and filled rest with a mix of fox farms ocean forest,light warrior, earth worm castings and sustain for a innitial nitrogen boost. this is not available at midwest or brew and grow. type in a company called jr johson. In fact check all there supply as they supply the grow shops and are often cheaper. wait at least a month before fertililising, and use nitrogen rich fertililiser until late july then top dress plant sites with bat guano, and begin using phospherous rich fertiliser. my first plant finished sept 10 and the last by the seventeenth. I know it sounds extensive but caring for a few strong plants often will give not only higher quality bud, but more weight then probably 20 half ass planted plants. I know its a little late this year but consider the trip for next year.

I just brought back "The Pure" seeds also known as skunk #1 back from Amsterdam... those fucks as customs confinscated my absinthe bottle but didn't find my seeds in my sock...

Yea...unfortunately, the "real" absinthe is a strange predicament in the US.

According to greendevil.com:

In the United States, Traditional Absinthe was banned in 1912, following the French ban three years before, but the current US Customs restrictions on the importation of Absinthe only are dated from 1958 while the USDA and FDA regulations still ban the sale or importation of any beverage containing wormwood.

So...you can "have" absinthe...but not the real shit...

What I don't understand is why the possession of just the seeds themselves is illegal in the US. What if your intentions are simply to prepare a fine collection of rare seeds?

I wish I was into politics...maybe I would go pre-law instead of bio haha

would you guys say its to late to plant 4 pure plants outside in minnesota? My other plants were eaten by rabbits and was wondering for those who have grown outdoors in minnesota before would have any advice for me?

Nice to see someone else reppin Northern Minny too!! One of my girls has started to flower already, but I would assume it depends on strain. If your plants are yet to be germinated I would say wait til next year. Otherwise go for it. It might be a small harvest but at least you tried, and you may learn a thing or two. I wish you the best luck.

The seeds i germinated were a strain a got in Amsterdam so im really anxious to see some some bud from The pure seeds i got. They are about a two weeks old but the are all very small. If the plants are small then ill hopefully get a male and make some bomb seeds for next year... And i still have 6 left of the ones i bought.
