lol, that was a quick reply.

nice to see someone else is up. and yes, the more light the better. i do think i'll pick up a set of t5s for the early weeks of growth and clones for my next grow since the MH is a bit strong for the little guys. these strains are just outstanding, really glad someone of your caliber is growing them. i know you can't wait till xmas lol.

have a great day big guy, stay

The plants look nice Shov, gonna be a great grow for sure....how long do you gonna veg em?? And you gonna use the same nutes right? I found that Bat Guano did a great job on my plants, maybe you too should give it a try on one of the plants...
Anyway, looks good so far, keep it up....:hippy:

Same nutes, except Technoflora now has cal/mag a sweet product and other micro/specialty nutes in their menu.

I'm hoping to find out some info on the NH I bought from marijuana-seeds dot com to see who bred them. I was reading on IC that the Mr. Nice people and Greenhouse Seeds people argue about who's is better (or if they are any good at all). AKs should be ready for Christmas smoking, if the NH are true to form they will be month or more later.

Well considering that the plants haven't really all grown that large, for six weeks I'm thinking I may go seven or eight weeks before I flip them. I just checked on them and the temp was over 90* so I opened a door, added another fan across the plants and removed some of the reflectors to improve air flow. The plants were actually looking pretty good though.
Clones are doing ok too. I may pot them this weekend.

I was watching the grow closely today as I was trying to lower the temperature (yep, got it down to 80* on the canopy right now. But, I saw what a grower hates to see, one of the better two Neville's Haze, it's pot upside down on the floor. The plant was hardly visible under the pile of soil. SHIT! At leaset it was only a matter of a couple of hours at most, and all the roots were covered. No broken stems or branches, maybe a leaf or two.

    IHIWTH,

Wow nice experiment you did with great information:thumbsup:

I don't know what to tell to do with that MANATEE but thank goodness she only came out bruised and will bounce back soon.

I don't mind a little challenge and this grow has had a couple/few. I'm still feeling good about it though. I'll veg them for a few more weeks. That way the clones should be stabile enough to put into 12/12 with the big plants.
I tossed the midget AK the other day so I have 4 NH and 5 AK. If I have 50% fem (4 or five plants) I can fit another 4-6 of the AK clones in there to finish with them. I guess I'll not take any NH clones this time. I have no room for a separate area for vegging them.

I am begining to wonder about that 50% ratio.

Remember my situation and your last. I am begining to think it is more like 75% or more now with breeders seeds.

    What you think?

well, my previous grows have been mostly my own inbred/crossbred seeds. Last grow was all female due to feminized seeds from a female pollinated by a hermi. Results were very good, I had very few seeds, if any in my crop. Others grown out by friends had no seeds at all. I did have a stash of Bubblegum seeds that I've gone through and given away. I believe that I've had much better than 50/50 in every grow. Tips I've tried and continue to use are, don't use shallow pots for seedlings (those little four ounce peat or plastic pots) and to use cold well water.

Now this is my first grow with foreign seeds. The germination was pretty traumatic it seemed with only a 50% germ rate due to too warm of temperature. I sowed the seeds over a period of two weeks, so some of the plants are actually younger than posted. I guess we will see and document the resuts.

    Thanks,

    Sho
