Volcano v Aromed v any others?

Im looking to buy a vape. I have used vapes before and I want to buy one and I don't mind paying if its worth it. My top priorities in a vape are efficiency and not burning the weed. I have ashtma and want the vape that is the purest and most effecient (even though its medicine I want to conserve as much dough as possible)

Doesn't seem like a lot of people have experience with the aromed, has anyone here used it? How does it compare with the volcano in terms of efficiency

I have noticed some vapes you have to use a lot of herb to fill the bowl. I want a vape where I can just put a small amount in (just enough as I need). I have heard you need to put in a lot for the volcano true or not?

It will mostly be for personal medical use but sometimes some of my friends (who all have cards mind you:thumbsup would use it also but 2/3 just me.

thanks for any suggestions on other vapes too. I don't know about all of them so any suggestions are good. Personal experience is best input rather than just hearsay.

I use the herbalaire and i sware by it! Works great! Only need a small amount to use it too. I own the herbalaire, Vapir Oxygen Portable and the vapir air one. By far my favorite is the herbalaire. The V.O.P. Is great for stealth but it doesnt sound like thats what you need. I dont really like the way it hits because mine always feels cloged like the intake holes are not big enought for really big hits. Before i got the herbalaire i liked to use the vapir one for bags but i hated how much it leaks! The only down side i can ever come up with for the herbalaire is that if you want to use the bags then you will have to hook up this external air pump that comes with it, the fan is not built in. This means you have to hook it up and use two electrical plugs to use the bags (not on straight whips though). Someone else brought up a good point though about if the pump breaks you just gotta get a new pump and thats all, if the vapir one fan breaks i think id be outta luck. Ive never used the aromed so i dont know which one is better. I have used a volcano and its my opinion that the herbalaire works just as good. Infact they have a claim that you can take the spent herb from any other vapes and use it in the herbalaire and get two bags full. It is true ive done it. The vapes not as good as fresh but if you got alot of spent herb from other vapes its really nice to have when you run out.

    Hope this helps.

A new vape to the market that I've been using for a few months now is perfect for small, measured doses. It's an upgrade (a big one) to what's maybe the original vape (patented in '78-the Eterra). I find myself using it instead of my Silver Surfer (and I'm not the only one), and that says a lot. It's the Purple-Days diffuser (it really is a legit aroma diffuser too)- purple-days.com. Some nice user reviews over at fuckcombustion.com too. This vape really is a steal at $150 IMO, and I've owned a bunch of different vapes. You'll never find another vape with this kind of build quality (including ROHS compliant parts) and time investment, at anywhere near this price. Over 80 separate steps in the build process-all hand made with a beautiful hardwood shell. You can find some vids on youtube as well, including some amazing durability tests.

And since you're concerned with efficiency, I'll agree with trance that the herbalAire is a good one (very efficient in thoroughly cooking your herb-I've used one for the last two years), but the Purple-Days beats it. Every vape loses some vapor due to condensation, if nothing else, but the P-D has very low condensation loss, never burns the bowl, and is therefore the most efficient vape I've ever used (about 15 total). Most highly recommended.

I had really just been interested in the Purple-Days vape as a better portable option than my Vapolution (temp control is getting flakey), since it has the same 12V design and is smaller (coke can size). But to my delight I discovered it was also much easier to use and provided bigger vapor hits than I had thought possible with such a small bowl. It uses a stainless steel heat exchanger with fins (for more surface area), so it has a huge heat reserve to provide consistent vapor hits. The exchanger acts as a buffer for the ceramic heater, so while most heating elements get slammed pretty hard by big draws, this one just cruises while the exchanger holds the temp steady. I love my SSV, but if I could only have one vape, this would be it.

    .
That, coupled with the fact that you would mostly using this piece solo, im gonna recommend the Oxygen Mini by vapir.

Ive had it and its been awesome. You only need to use a little bit and there is no loss of vapor because there is no fan. You draw on it as you like

I think that you've confused his join date with his post date, since his posting is dated Aug. 6 2008.

Hey man. If anyone is going to buy a Vaporizer I would recommend The Volcano Vaporizer! I just received in mail today and have been testing all night! Volcano is the most efficient Vaporizer on the net. The bag system is nice because you can fill the bag and smoke the vapor up to 8 hours later without losing potency. It is 95% effective in that it filters out all the toxins and just allows the user to inhale pure THC. One Bag will lay me out! I usually use up to .25 g per pack. That pack can fill up to 8 nice sized bags! Stones Several without side effects like red eyes and dry mouth! Best machine on the market! I bought mine for 400 USD on an Online Auction Site. And a roll of bags for 9 bucks! A steal! Allows user to taste different strains of bud. If you can come up with the money GET THE VOLCANO!
