    Why you grow?

I thought we all grew for personnel use
stickinnc Reviewed by stickinnc on . Why you grow? Sorry if im being nosy or invasive, growing may be a personal topic for some. If you feel like sharing, I was just wondering what motivated you to grow? I've been considering growing for a while now but it won't be in the near future becuase I still have to get my own place and I would rather not grow in a dorm room when im in university. I would grow my own plants because then I can have a varity of different plants and have which ever ones I want. I also won't have to pay a dealer for Rating: 5

WTF are YOU growing! 8k a plant? I think the most expensive shit I have heard of is 1200 an oz in socal...So...in summation...you have the DANKEST nug around, AND yield 7+ oz a plant....well, good on ya!!!

I personally agree with skeet...almost seems like he typed for me, lol. I grow for personal (and small group of friends) for medicine, and WHOLEHEARTEDLY agree on enjoying with those you care about...It shouldn't be all about making money. I find growing/breeding very therapeutic also...

    Why you grow?

I don't smoke much, so it doesn't save me a ton of money (maybe $200 or $300 per year). I am just so thankful for the plant that I want to learn all about it and try different strains and what not. I guess there a lot of reasons I grow, actually.

Right now I don't have a dealer, so that is part of it. But I could eventually find one if I really wanted to. I suppose I'm an independent type of person, and I don't like the thought of having to rely on another person for my cannabis.

Another part of the reason is that I feel like it is my civic duty. Strange, I know, but I feel like the laws against cannabis are *extremely* unethical, and I feel like my own little civil disobedience is to grow and keep the genetics of certain strains going.

Last but not least, cannabis is a very spiritual thing for me. I feel that I hear the guidance of the Holy Spirit much more clearly when I've smoked and I'm praying, meditating, or just walking through the woods. Growing my own just enhances that experience... I get to see the life cycle all the way through and experience the wonder of a seed turning into a great plant, the provision of the rain and sun, etc.

Yea we do, but if theres extra... well you know. Its not like we dont know how expensive this stuff is. I have always dreamed of being on the other end of that deal.

I must admit, sometimes my greed does get the better of me and my mouth. But Im always up for a new calming and theraputic experience, God knows I need one. I just find that interesting too because I find being outside and around plants and flowers very serene, I can't wait till I start my own grow It should be quite the experience.

I've always been fascinated with this... the life cycle, growth, metamorphosis etc. expecially in humans. Mostly with babies though, watchin then go from fitting in your arms to a 6'4'' 250lbs hunk, and all with nutrition and exercise, its absolutly amazing!... I guess my blabbering was a little off point but what Im getting at is I know what you mean and I feel you there

    Why you grow?

To soothe my aches after a nice long hard day of soothing my aches. LOL,, really though I enjoyed smoking for a long time and it costs too much to smoke some good herb..So I ran across this board a few years ago and have spent 500.00 in the last four years for smoke other than my own.
