I emailed "Baghdad" Jim McDermott a few weeks back urging him to support this bill. He emailed me back saying how he couldn't because it promotes drugs in a society in which he believes does not promote drug use. I emailed him back citing numerous examples of tobacco, alcohol, and pharmaceutical drug advertising. I'm glad to see that his position on this issue has changed. I urge all other Washingtonians to email him because a few weeks ago he was solidly opposed to this bill. Keep up the good work. Let those monkeys in congress know your thoughts and feelings.
