Last year all my plants were male. This year I planted extra large numbers to make sure I got males and females, but a flood/severe thunderstorm wiped out my grow area and I'm lucky that I even have the two survivors left that I have. I think they are both female though. Two females is one of the best "problems" I can imagine having, but nonetheless I would love to have some pollen so I don't ever have Rating: 5

Yes yes I corrected myself about that one. I thought it was in responce (at first) to me and someone else from the thread being in the same thread but then i rememberd posting the warning on here 2 days ago. Im sorry and stand corrected.

Start trying to force the herm right away- early in flower- so not only does the plant have time to make nanners, but the seeds produced have at least a month to develop. Seeds need a good 5 weeks on the plant; they WILL continue to ripen slightly while the plant is hanging to dry, but a month on a live plant is about a minimum. If you want to be sure, let the plant ripen alive until the seeds are FAT and BRown, and the calyxes containing seeds are tan colored and papery, regardless of trich color.

Ah, ok good to know. Once when I grew for the purpose of making tons of seeds I let the male explode with pollen everywhere... they were grown at the same time so it happened pretty early in flowering... just right for making the thousands of beans I needed to spread around to people on Oahu (where it is very difficult to find any seeds in the weed)

Hell yeah it was!! I just moved back from there. I only lived there a year, smoked everyday, and never found a single seed! Stuff around here just doesnt match up... I miss my island paradise... Maybe i smoked some of the stuff you helped to grow with those seeds! If i did It was GOOD!! :rastasmoke:
